Highlights - Petitions on environmental and health impacts of mining activities: debate 18.04.2016 - Committee on Petitions

The Committee will hold a debate on petitions dealing with environmental and health impacts of mining activities in Slovakia and Finland. According to the petitioners, existing and planned mining activities are causing serious environmental damage, destruction and disturbance of ecosystems and habitats and pose a threat to human health.
