The Committee on Petitions annually drafts a report on its activities providing a complete overview of the work of the Committee during the previous year. According to the draft report, in 2014 the European Parliament received 2715 petitions. Biggest number of petitions came from Spain, followed by Germany, Italy, Romania and the United Kingdom. In 2014 justice remained the main area of concern for the petitioners, followed by the environment, internal market, fundamental rights and health.
