Highlights - Petitions on the environment and water pollution: Debate - 23.01.2018 - Committee on Petitions

At its meeting of 22 January, the Committee will discuss a series of petitions on water management and water pollution. The countries concerned by the petitions are Slovakia, Spain, and Italy. The issues addressed include allegations of high levels of pollution of the Ferrol Ria in Spain, the microbiological content of water intended for human consumption, and sustainable cross-border management of river systems.
