Highlights - Petitions on the environment: Debate – 21.01.2018 - Committee on Petitions

The Committee will consider a series of petitions on environmental matters from across the Union. Matters under consideration include alleged non-implementation of the Water Framework Directive, human exposure to pesticides, and possible negative environmental and public health effects of high-voltage power lines. Members will also listen to a presentation of a study entitled “Management Plans for Large Carnivores in the EU and Member States” commissioned by Policy Department C.
