The Committee on Petitions will discuss a number of petitions highlighting the human health risks caused by the noise pollution from airports. EU citizens call for the introduction of noise-related operating restrictions at EU airports, a ban of aeroplane take-offs and landings at night and revision of the taxation policy of the aviation industry.
