The Committee on Petitions received numerous petitions asking for the abolition of the summer-winter time arrangements in the EU. The petitioners claim that such arrangements have negative impact on health and do not ensure sufficient energy saving advantages. The Committee exchanged views on these petitions on 14 July 2015.
